SABINA

A SHORT VIDEO BIOGRAPHY OF SABINA WURMBRAND (1913-2000)
Sabina Wurmbrand was imprisoned by the communist regime in Romania during Romania's worst Stalinist period (1950-1953.) One of the prisons she was in, was the dreaded subterranean Fort of Jilava. Her longest prison-time was spent at a slave labor camp along the Danube River-Black Sea-Canal. Tens of thousands of prisoners died during the construction of this canal with slave labor, under communism. Sabina was the wife of Reverend Richard Wurmbrand (1909-2001) who was also imprisoned for his Christian faith, during 14 years, in Romanian communist prisons.
